Parish Magazine for November 2006
We extend a warm welcome to Mr and Mrs Graham Breeze who have recently moved into The Byre. We hope they will enjoy being part of Whitton.
We were pleasantly surprised to find that a quantity of 2007 calendars depicting the church and local scenes had been placed in the church with a note to suggest that we sell them at £2.50 each with all proceeds going to the restoration fund. We extend warmest thanks to the donor for this generous gesture. At the time of writing there are copies for sale in the church.
Once again we are selling Christmas Cards depicting the Burne-Jones/William Morris window. These can be collected from the church or ordered from Michael Holmes (890332). They are available blank or with a Christmas greeting at a cost of £5.00 per pack (10) £4.00 per pack for quantities of 5 packs, or £3.50 per pack for 10 packs or more.
Many thanks to David Rhoden for all the effort and time he has spent trimming the churchyard hedges inside and out - a good job well done!

This service with the laying of the poppy wreath will be held on Sunday 12th November at 6.30 pm. The collection will be for church funds with a retiring collection in aid of the Earl Haig Fund.
