Annual Lunch

On Sunday 22nd January, the day of our Annual Church Lunch, a lovely service was led by Rev Claire Lording and the address was given by Gordon Bailey. We extend a special ‘Thank You’ to Anthony Brand for stepping in as Server at the last minute. After the service coffee and biscuits were provided by Aileen Hood, who having only one arm working was helped by Rosemary Edwards. 22 of us then made our way to The Fountain Inn at St Michael's where we enjoyed a superb three course lunch served perfectly by the very friendly staff. Following the meal we chatted leisurely over coffee accompanied by mints. A very successful social occasion. Our thanks to the Fountain Inn.

Mothering Sunday

This year it will be a joint service with our neighbours from Greete and will be held at St James, Greete, on Sunday 18th March at 10am.

Daffodil Daze

As I write (14.02.12) the daffodils are making little progress due to weeks of cold weather, but if the present warmer weather continues, we may be able to hold the event in the latter part of March. Please keep an eye out for the advertising boards. Offers of cakes, books and help with the tea and stewardship rota will be appreciated.
