Annual Lunch

The Annual lunch was held at The Bennett's End, Knowbury following the morning Communion Service on Sunday January 26th. A pleasant service was led by Rev Sue Foster although we missed Don's presence as organist. Coffee and biscuits were provided by Pat Hunter after which 20 of us met at The Bennett's End where we were made very welcome and enjoyed a lovely lunch and congenial conversation.

Operation Christmas Child

A belated thank you to all who contributed to this year's collection with wonderful boxes or generous financial donations towards transport costs. 11,063 boxes went from the Stourport depot to children in Kyrgyzstan and Romania where we know they will have been welcomed and appreciated. Many thanks. — Kath Bills

Daffodil Daze

As I write (10/2/14) the daffodils are making good progress at present due to much milder conditions so far this winter. It is therefore difficult to predict the dates for Daffodil Daze at this stage. Please keep an eye out for the advertising boards. Offers of cakes, books and help with the tea and stewardship rota will be appreciated.

Annual PCC Meeting

The Annual PCC meeting will be held in Church at 7.30 pm on Monday 31st March 2014. This is a meeting open to everyone on the Church Electoral Roll - come along and have your say as the Church is such an important part of the community.

Mothering Sunday

The Mothering Sunday service will be held jointly with our friends from St James, Greete at St Mary's, Whitton on Sunday 30th March at 10am and will be led by Rev Sue Foster. The service will include children participation.

Cleaning Rota for March

Mrs Linda Drew and Mrs Betty Ward.

Remember with thanksgiving the gifts of God to you today. A meeting with a friend; a glimpse of deep joy or sadness in a passing face; a flower at the wayside; a baby's first steps; a grandparent's smile; a friendly shop assistant; a considerate driver; a moment of insight; a job done; a problem solved; a child's hug; a lover's touch; a warm memory; a rising moon; a falling leaf ... Be still, in the memory and offer God your thanks in your own way.
