Tony and I would like to wish you all A Very Happy and Peaceful New Year

Team Service

This will be held at St Mary's Whitton on Sunday 27th December at 10am followed by light refreshments.

Many, many thanks to all who gave so generously to Tenbury No Interest Loan Scheme to provide Christmas Hampers for households in our Team area who might struggle to gather together the Christmas food and drink that many of us take for granted. I know that your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child

Many thanks to all in Whitton and other villages who contributed shoeboxes, knitted items and very generous financial donations. I was able to take two full loads - almost 100 boxes - to the depot in Stourport where they were eagerly and gratefully received. Our boxes are now bringing fun and joy to families in Kyrgyzstan.

Church Lunch

Just a reminder that booking forms are now available from Michael for the Annual Church Lunch at The Pembroke Inn on Sunday 24th January 2016 following Morning Service, 12 for 12.30. Three courses £21, two courses £16.50.

Magazine Money

Again another reminder to please pay Michael by end of January 2016. Cost £7.80 for 12 months subscription.

Church Electoral Roll

The Church Electoral Roll is open to those who are baptised and aged 16 or over and resident in the Parish or, not being resident in the Parish, have attended worship during the past six months. Forms are available from the Electoral Roll Officer, Mrs Clare Cavenagh (891679) or a supply of forms is available in the Church. Prayer for the month

God our Father, you made your Word flesh in Jesus Christ. Help us to be trustworthy witnesses to your Son not so much by claiming to speak the truth, but by acting in such a way that people meet and know Christ in our words and deeds. — Amen
